This week we are honored to be joined by FFXIV lore aficionado Ethys Asher (Twitch/Twitter). We take this opportunity to discuss and speculate about lore in the upcoming expansion Stormblood. The discussion takes an odd turn when we get into the oral skills of ancient snake ladies, but we manage to get through it… somehow. We also talk about monster trucks in FFXV and why Chille can’t be an Eorzean pop idol.

Warning – This is a Patch 3.5 spoilercast. This week the crew discusses the 30th Anniversary news for Final Fantasy, and takes the spoiler tags off of the discussion as we talk about the story lines in patch 3.5. Luna gives us the low down on Palace of the Dead in the “How Do I…” segment, and Seyrr is misunderstood once again as he threatens to tie Luna to a chair to make her watch skipped cut scenes, to instead have his intentions seem to be more kinky than he intended.

Final Fantasy XV rumored release date

According to an article on gaming website Gematsu, 3 independent sources have confirmed that the long-awaited release of Final Fantasy XV will be on September 30th, 2016. While this is still a rumor, we should learn the true release date on March 30th during the “Uncovered – Final Fantasy XV” event in Los Angeles. If the rumors are true, this is good news indeed for Final Fantasy fans.

Final Fantasy XV Active Time Report video

The video of FFXV’s Active Time Battle is available to view at Square Enix’s YouTube Channel. See Director Tabata and Marketing director Ofuji talk about the battle and magic systems, and discuss the upcoming Uncovered event at the end of March.
