As Final Fantasy XIV celebrates its fourth anniversary, we celebrate two years of podcasting! The crew talks about Letter from the Producer Live XXXVIII, where we get more info on Patch 4.1, titled The Legend Returns. We also talk about the recently released series “Dad of Light” which is based off a real life story of a father and son who play FFXIV. We then get nostalgic over the past two years of putting on these shows for you, our listeners, and what a crazy ride it has been getting here. Seyrr’s Lore discussion talks about the Lady of Bliss, Sri Lakshmi, and we finally get some information on why Lalafells are so tasty. Lalafell Tacos, anyone?

We give our impressions on the fights and story, and talk a bit about what we would like to see moving forward with the Omega series as well as the upcoming Return to Ivalice series. Seyrr goes in-depth with Susano and the idea of Kami, and we discuss why Chille turned into a dancing Chille dog.

Now that everyone on the show has completed the Stormblood story, it’s time for us to give our thoughts on the storyline, dungeons, and quests that took us from the Fringes, across the sea to Doma, and back to Ala Mhigo. Seyrr discusses the eerie similarities between two nation’s patriotic hymns, and we talk about our accomplishments in game since the last episode. We also discover that Chille really does get around in the FFXIV community, but we love his spirit and enthusiasm!
