We talk a bit about the new content coming to Final Fantasy XV December 12th, and the upcoming Producer Live Letter 40 for Final Fantasy XIV on December 15th. Luna leads our discussion topic this week where we explore the ideas and misconceptions behind Role Playing within FFXIV,  Seyrr tells us all about Oschon the Wanderer, and we discover why Chille is always broke!

This week the Phoenix Down Radio cast talk about the numerous interviews released by the gaming media, including one from our very own Chille, who was ever so gracious in allowing us to submit a number of questions as well. Extra Life 2017 Stream Schedule and Giveaways

This Saturday, November 4th, we will be taking part in the Extra Life Game Day 24+ hour fundraiser, benefiting Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Starting at 10:00 AM ET, we will be streaming a variety of games, such as Final Fantasy XIV and XV, Horizon Zero Dawn, and others. We will also be working together with the FFXIV Content Creators team to run content like the Lost City of Rabanastre as a group.

Tentative Gaming Schedule: (All Times ET, content subject to change)

  • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm – Horizon Zero Dawn
  • 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Final Fantasy XIV (Includes Lost City of Rabanastre run with FFXIVCC Team)
  • 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Final Fantasy XV
  • 9:00 pm – 1:00 am – FFXIV Hyperion Map Party
  • 11:00 pm – GIVEAWAY – FFXIV Stormblood Physical Collectors Edition for PS4
  • 1:00 am – 2:00 am – Mobius Final Fantasy
  • 2:00 am – 4:00 am – Cards Against Humanity with the FFXIVCC Team
  • 4:00 am – 10:00 am – To be Determined

 

To encourage donations to this wonderful cause, we have come up with a number of donation achievements, giveaways, and stretch goals.

  • For everyone who donates at least $10, you will be entered in a drawing to win one of a number of prizes, including Mog Station minions, and 1 of 3 Silver Moogle Pocket watches*

On this week’s episode, Klauss, Luna, Seyrr, and Chille discuss the news from Live Letter 39, which seemed to give more information about Patch 4.2 than it did 4.1, but we still try to talk about the upcoming content and changes expected in the newest patch. We discuss what people are doing to either keep entertained within FFXIV or to break the monotony caused by the current content drought. Seyrr’s lore segment goes over the Elementals of the Black Shroud, and we to figure out how Chille can be on so many podcasts in one day!
